上海凯宾斯基大酒店举办圣诞慈善点灯仪式
——守望之光，燃耀希望

　　One of the most highly anticipated dates on the social calendar, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the main lobby of Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai was held on the 26th of November to herald the start of the festive season.
　　2020年11月26日晚，上海凯宾斯基大酒店成功举办了一场“守望之光，燃耀希望”慈善点灯仪式，冬季已经来临，象征温暖和长寿的灯火，温暖的照亮了隆冬的黑暗，也让人们满怀希望期待新一年的到来。在场百余位来宾共同见证和分享了这一温情时刻，正式拉开了欢乐且温暖的圣诞季帷幕。

　　In the spirit of giving, guests donated generously to charity program “Soap of Hope”, which raises money for the distribution of soap to poor communities in rural China in order to improve sanitation and reduce the chances of serious infections, as well as create a livelihood for the local communities by recycling and making soap. It gives hotels such as our own a meaningful way to recycle and involve staff members in a project that makes a positive impact on society. This year, guests who donated 100 RMB or more received a charming gift of soap, as well as a customized piece of brick made from gingerbread. Our chefs wrote the benefactor’s name or company on it and it was attached to our large gingerbread house at lobby lounge.
　　上海凯宾斯基大酒店一如既往的积极慈善，牵手制“皂”希望慈善活动，该慈善活动不仅旨在为残疾人募捐爱心基金，同时将回收再造的肥皂分发到偏远社区，鼓励当地人勤洗手，减少疾病传播，保护身体健康，为当地社区创造共赢价值。此慈善项目对于上海凯宾斯基大酒店来说是非常有意义的，支持环保事业的同时接力慈善，传递爱心，并且让酒店的全体员工都可以积极投入和参与到社会公益中。凡捐款金额达100元及以上的宾客均会收到一块圣诞特制肥皂和定制版姜饼砖，姜饼砖将由上海凯宾斯基大酒店西点师刻上捐款代表的名字，并展示在由凯宾美食阁改造的具有欧洲特色的姜饼屋中。

　　The ceremony opened with MC welcome speech followed with the heavenly voices of the Wellington Collage Shanghai choir and a festive spread of traditional European Christmas food and drinks, including Glühwein, eggnog, Christmas cookies, and stollen were set. Guests also enjoyed Kempinski’s own creation – the Candy Cane Margarita.
　　当晚现场唯美典雅，大堂正中央5米高的圣诞树挂满了琳琅满目的圣诞装饰，无处不在的圣诞气息让每一位来宾都能感受到节日来临时的喜悦。伴随着司仪诚挚的问候与唱诗班学生悠扬的歌声，一年一度的圣诞点灯仪式正式拉开序幕。来宾们尽情享用着厨师团队精心准备的圣诞季限定热饮和小食——德国圣诞热甜酒、甜蛋酒、圣诞小饼干、树根蛋糕、德国圣诞甜面包。另外，身着圣诞服饰的服务生们还为大家奉上凯宾自制的特调饮品——拐杖糖玛格丽特。

　　At 18:18, General Manager Mr. Mark Stephen Kirk, personally lit the Christmas tree lights. Following the lighting of the tree, heavenly voice of the Wellington collage Shanghai choir spread around in the lobby. Santa Claus emerged to give out candies and take photos with the guests. For our annual prize draw, the lucky winners received prizes of vouchers for our sister hotels and in house dining voucher but even those who didn’t win a prize this year didn’t leave empty handed; goody bags were handed out to all guests in attendance, marking the end of yet another successful lighting ceremony.
　　在大家的倒数声中，总经理柯克先生于18点18分亲自点亮了承载着美好希望的圣诞之树。与此同时，现场再次响起悠扬的圣诞颂歌，此次唱诗班是由上海惠林顿国际学校的学生们组成。圣诞老人也步入大堂，派发糖果给现场的来宾们并一同合照，浓浓的节日气息充满着酒店每一个角落。活动尾声，酒店的行政管理层为大家抽取了当晚的幸运大奖，中奖者均有机会入住各地的凯宾斯基酒店，体验欧式奢华服务带来的非凡感受。另外凡参加仪式的宾客均收到了充满圣诞气息的伴手礼包。点灯仪式宣告着圣诞欢庆季的大幕现已拉开。在12月酒店为大家准备了丰富多彩的圣诞活动：圣诞主题沙龙手作课，用你的定制手作，和我们一起寻味圣诞；圣诞限定甜品下午茶，让舌尖尽享冬季美妙滋味；圣诞夜自助晚宴，寰宇美食之旅在此梦想成真。
