西北名刹拉卜楞寺：甘南草原上的“金色宫殿”

　　 在人们印象中，所谓的大寺庙，也就是建筑面积巨大的一座单体建筑。可来到清代嘉庆皇帝御赐金字红匾的甘南拉卜楞寺，才发现，原来这可以是一座小城镇般。整个寺院建筑群宏伟壮丽，金碧辉煌，气势磅礴。游人至此，仿佛置身《一千零一夜》中的神秘世界！拉卜楞寺的什袭珍藏，以数量之多和品位之高闻名于世。寺内，仅藏文经卷就有65000余部，其数量和种类之多，在全国寺庙中首屈一指。其中用金汁、银汁、珊瑚、松耳石、珍珠、砗磲6种粉汁书写的梵文经──《金刚经》，以及第一世嘉木祥用金汁亲笔书写的《贤劫经》等都价值连城。它堪称世界藏传佛教文化艺术宝库！
